Spark Plugs replacements on 2015 XJR
Hi Guys, I am new to the forum just bought the car 2 months ago with 43k miles on the clock, I would like to replace the spark plugs on this car and just wondering if it is an easy job to do or requires the car to go to the dealer?
Your help is much appreciated, Many thanks for all your help

The spark plugs especially those at the rear are very difficult to access and you need a combination of a special tool or a home made adaptor, tiny hands and fingers and the dexterity of a circus performer. And the coil packs can be a PITA to remove and the rubber insulation pieces put up a huge fight both removing and replacing.
If you take it to a dealer they will charge like a wounded bull and if you take it to a decent independent mechanic he will charge about half as much but still plenty.
The spark plugs are Iridium and are designed to last 100,000 miles plus with zero problems so unless you are sure one or more are faulty and need replacing I wouldn't bother.
It's a pig of a job.

My service interval in my maintenance book was 96k or 6 years. I had them changes and found no difference in idle or performance. This was done on my major 6 year 96k service
I had mine replaced at 98,000 miles. Didn’t notice a difference, but my engine runs smooth. I now have 111,000 miles on the original timing chain. I have always changed the oil at 7,500 miles. Cheap insurance.
