The Jaguar XJ was introduced in 2009, so the company is preparing a minor facelift for their flagship sedan – and that goers even for the sports-variant called the XJR. Caught undergoing testing at the German Nürburgring race track, the prototype has been equipped with modified bumpers and a revised grille. There doesn't appear to be any other changes but we wouldn't be surprised if the production model had some additional tweaks. Engine options will likely carryover.

 

Looking at the pictures if this is an XJR they have removed the hood vents, the rocker panels are of the non XJR panels and, also, the side "vents" say SuperSport. Could the SuperSport be returning?
