I purchased a 2011 XJL that Car Fax and other services show as Supercharged but the car is not and my repair shop's service show it as non-supercharged. Has anyone else seen this? I am probably lucky it is not but wonder why the discrepancy.

 

May I ask is it a V8 or a V6? I have seen a non supercharged V6 advertised in Japan... But am not sure if that is accurate...

 

There is a VIN decoder under the tool tab. Put the VIN in and see what it shows.

 

It is a V8

 

If the eleventh digit of your VIN is "M", it is supercharged.
