Default suspension differences between Supersport and Supercharged?

Hi all,

I am trying to decide between a short wheel base Supersport vs a long wheel base Supercharged (both low miles) and was wondering whether there is any difference between the suspensions on the two cars. Is the Supersport sprung tighter, does it sit lower, etc?

Also, any other comments highlighting the differences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Cheers,

Thanks.....I'm looking at 2012's...maybe 2011's but primariliy 2012's.

I assumed there must be something more than the increased HP b/c of the price difference but I could be wrong.

Surprisingly the Supersport doesn't have an upgraded suspension. The springs and dampers are calibrated the same as the Supercharged version.

My wife and I went to the Jaguar Alive Drive event yesterday afternoon. We own a 2011 XJ SS and drove a 2013 XJ Supercharged with the speed pack and the SS is MUCH more powerful. The difference was very apparent. The SS will break the tires loose at will, while the SC works a little harder to do so.

As for suspension, put either in the dynamic mode and it's about as stiff and sporty as you'd want in a large sedan.

Given the choice you presented, I'd go for the SS. We actually traded a 2011 SC for this 2011 SS......

Good luck.
