I thought about modifying the seat panels to fit my 2016... but not sure if its worth the effort or just find the ones that fit.

So question is.. is there a market for these items?

 

I might be interested in the picnic trays. The one on the left looks like it is missing the chrome latch at the top like the seat on the right has.

Also, there appears to be several scratches on them or is that just the picture, I tried enlarging it to get a better look but that didn't work.

Lastly, what are those two grayish panels below the seat backs ?

If those were in the dark grey, would be offering a price for them. So, to answer your question, there is a desire for these and you can make a bit of money off of them. Now, how easy it will be to sell, hard to say. This is one of those options that some are looking for, but most are not as they do not work on the standard XJ's and now you are limited to finding someone wiht the same color interior.

The vents look like they are from the hood. I could be mistaken. if so, that is going to be a really hard sell unless someone is willing to buy an entire hood and stick those in the hood that is missing them.

 

There are a few scratches on the tray table leather. I had plans to re-wrap them in black.. then make them fit in my car. As you know, the 2016 trays are different. So I'd have to fabricate a bracket. I'm on the fence.

They are missing the latched. Thats a cheap $45 fix.

 

And yes, those are hood louvers/vents from an XJR. The hood was trashed, so I salvaged those with the surrounding sheet metal. So I can retain the recessed look. Would have them fabricated and repaint my hood.

I have a 2012 xjl portfolio which seems to be the same color interior, so I believe they would fit.

They do open and close properly. You would need new latches. They can be had for both for around $25 online (Aliexpress)

I honestly haven't put much thought into these. I have a child on the way and been preoccupied. I will entertain offers. Just send a message.

Funny you ask. I literally just received the missing clips yesterday. I had to order new ones.
I would still sell for the right price. I haven't really compared prices but shoot me an offer.

 

I also have 2 rear illuminated door sills for sale. They are for the short wheel base.
