Thinking of Buying a 2004 XJ8 or XJ6

Hi Guys

I'm not sure if I'm on the right Forum? but I'm thinking of buying an XJ6 or an XJ8 of around year 2004.

So could do with some advice on what to look out for.

My Budget is £5,000 Max and needs to be UK Spec.

One thing I am curious about (I know nothing about these cars) is that some of the Front Grill Surrounds are painted and some are chrome, which must be significant in some way?

Your advice appreciated for a first time XJ buyer.
