Just purchased the factory OEM spoiler c2d22636xxx from the dealer for my 2014 XJL. While is out to be painted I am requesting the correct location on the trunk lid for installation. If someone has the spoiler installed as an option from the factory could you please provide measurements:
Distance from top of trunk lid edge to the front of spoiler.
Distance from edge to edge of spoiler in relation to the side edge of trunk lid
Distance from the rear edge of the trunk lip to the bottom of the spoiler
Your help would be appreciated

IMHO since it is set over the existing small lip it should only fit in one position and just needs to be centered. Second question why not have the body shop doing the paining install it?

If I remember correctly and you have the factory OEM spoiler there will be a diagram inside the box that shows you exactly where it should be placed on the trunk.
See my Post #48 in this 2015 thread for details and photos of how I installed my Mina Gallery rear spoiler. It was easy and still looks the same as when I installed it. I suspect that the OEM spoiler installs the same way, with 3M double-sided automotive tape.
