Installed my unit last night. All seems fine but I can't seem to get audio to work with the phone via bluetooth. They can hear me but I can't hear them. I can hear BT music fine, by selecting the AUX function on the Jag Stereo. In an effort to fix it, I reset the android system and that has created a new problem.... The ZLink Android Car Play system now needs an activation code.
Any suggestions on the BT phone audio? They provided a small speaker but I didn't install it. I've never seen a BT phone system use a different stand alone speaker.

I don't know if this will help but it is the factory reset instructions I got from Merryway. I messed up after my install and started clicking buttons without much knowledge of what I was doing and somehow got it reset to factory default settings which unfortunately for me put everything in chinese!
I was sweating bullets for a while as I frantically kept clicking button's to finally get it back to English. I did get it and there was not much to it in the end.

Kevin, I did the same and had panic as the entire unit switched to Chinese Language. It took a minute but I got it reset to English. The reset of the system disabled the CarPlay app. Andy reset the link and this morning I got it working. First step was to disable BT on my phone. 2nd was to start the system and link it to a Wifi connection. Once I did that, I started the CarPlay app and all was good. From there I reset my BT on my phone and all was good with Car Play. Sound works as long as I've set the Jag audio/video to Aux setting.
Regarding the phone system, Andy tells me it requires me to install the included mic & speaker as the Android phone system (app) can't connect to the Jag phone system unless you use the Jag BT as your primary system. I was surprised by this. I only installed the mic, so I guess I will now pull the unit back out and connect the speaker. My Jag's phone system has issues and that is one of the main reasons I wanted to swap the system out.

The provided wireless/BT app that was installed on the head unit seems to be a bit unstable, so I purchased a carplay dongle that allows me to skip BT connection. I tried it out today and it works much better. I have no need for BT connection and the sound quality is significantly improved. Cost was $60 on amazon.

I had the same problem with a Kindle a while back and had to go all the way through the setup process in order to reset the language

Does that unit also include the stock Jaguar cooling setup? If not it will over heat and fail in the dash?
Do you swap OEM cards into that one to preserve the stock functions?
We have had several different idea's to get the tablets booting faster (Fast Boot. Suspend Operations. ect.) but without any time mentioned how would we know if this unit boots any faster than the other units?

I'd love to have the bigger screen but I really don't care all the extra Android stuff. I have one of those UAD wireless Carplay units hooked into the OEM system and it works great (albeit with a few glitches every once in a while). I'd love to keep everything the way it is now but just have it translated to the bigger screen. Anybody know if this is possible?
