My friend, who recently bought a 2011 XJ SC with top of the line B&W audio, has had a battle with his USB ports on the car. He has a Samsung S7 and a top of the line Iphone 7 plus. He had intermittent connection issues. Now he is not getting any connection on any port with either, but cables are new and work fine with charger plugged into cigarette lighter. Says he believes that the ports seem loose.

Has anyone else had this specific type or similar problem? Is there some sort of audio reset that would help. I do not think this car has had all of the computer updates it should have had- would that be a potential fix? How hard is it to replace the USB ports?

Any suggestions are welcomed.
