valve clerance?
hi thete.
i tryd to chack online and in any manual i can find but dont have answer.
what are the valve clerance on the xj 2010 5.0L (not supercharge)?
this is what i found in the jag engine data:
V8 Gasoline SC and N/A intake0.18 – 0.22 mm ex-0.23 – 0.27 mm
is this right?

Udiasi, I have a few manuals from Jaguar. This is what they list:
Exhaust valve cold: 0.25mm +/- 0.02
Intake valve cold: N/A
So, if you have a spec for the intake, I would go with that. That value makes sense based on the exhaust valve numbers.
