If the sound system is off and I tell the voice command "radio play" it will not turn on. Only works when the sound system is on, can be in other mode like sat radio. Is that normal?

 

Mine is the same way. Must manually turn on the audio before voice commands can be used.

 

Just had the car in for service and they loaded the most recent updates...guess what, the voice now turns on the radio when you say "radio play" even if the audio is off. Frustrating thing is the dealer doesn't know what updates do what.
