Whining noise on startup
good morning i have a Jaguar XJL lwb 2011 but on initial start up I get a whining noise when accelerating even before putting into gear can you please advise?

If you've got a whine with engine running but not in gear then suspicion must fall on bearings in components linked to the engine, like serpentine belt tensioners, power steering pump, alternator, or the air con compressor.
