Hi, I have all the windows are fogging up from the inside (winter is coming). I have checked A/C: works. When I open sunroof or switch defogger on, it goes a bit better (clean the front and the driver windows ), but still mists in the back.
Also when I start the car in the morning it mists up the windscreen and it takes about 2 minutes to have a clear view.
Where can I find the drain of the A/C to clean / check?
Or any other idea...
Thanks
Gab
As Jaguar tend to re-use component designs across their model range, I expected this would be typical blocked neoprene 'duck bill' AC drains which exit from the bottom of the AC unit on either side of the transmission bellhousing like my XK but reference to the Workshop Manual and Parts Catalogue shows X351 AC draining is different.
Most likely cause is blockage in the Evaporator Drain Pan (see item 21):
The Parts Catalogue also illustrates a Dessicant Bag on the Condenser:
Clearly the purpose of this will also be to remove AC moisture and it is likely to have a limited service life.
Thank you for your replay.
May be I have the same JEPC so I had this picture from it. Unfortunately I have not find the drain-pan. I have removed the kick-panel from passenger side but nothing like this...
If there is an external end of it I can check, or clean... or even plug some kind of a wire into it to clean...
Does the car put out water when the AC is running?
Put the car on a lift with it idling and the AC on. You should find the drain pretty quick.
I hope it's not what Graham said as we have not had that problem reported on the X351 model but the years are going by so it might be starting to show up now?

Hi,
I removed the undertray, the heatshild and clean the drain.
In summer there is no problem with it so I have to wait till October or November to check it out.
