Can the back windows be rolled up with the top down?
My wife likes the windows to be rolled up even with the top down. Is it possible to roll up the back windows, too? I just installed a wind deflector, and I'm thinking that with all four windows rolled up my wife's hair should stay put even without a scarf.
If it isn't something that the car does by default, have any of the experts on here rigged a way to roll up the windows with the top down?
UPDATE!
For new members who haven't followed this thread for nine months, if you fast forward to post #32 you'll see that I finally got the back windows to work independently of the convertible top. It's not that difficult to do if you know how to use strippers (NO! Not that kind!) and and crimpers. I'm going to write up the instructions on how to do it. I promise it won't take me nine more months.
UPDATE #2!
If you go to post #51 you'll see a video of how to raise the windows with the top down.
UPDATE #3!
If you go to post #107 you'll see how to installed some relays that allow you to control the rear windows with the same button that controls the convertible top.

Simple electrical/mechancial solution associated with the relays that operate the rear windows. On my first car with a serious hydraulic problem, I took the covers off the relays and drilled an 1/8" hole in the appropriate place to allow a plastic/wood device (toothpick) to manually operate the relays. You could wire the relays into a switch but for the occasional use a toothpick may be all you need.

Oh... I've already done that. My windshield had a chip which I think I talked about in another thread. Since the glass guy couldn't fix it I thought I'd try it on my own. I fixed the star fracture, but in the process I put a three inch crack in the windshield. It's barely noticeable, though. It's not nearly as bad as the star fracture was.
My background is electronics, though. I figure I can rig a switch, I just need a wiring diagram, and I need to know the location of stuff.

By the way, I really wish I could roll those windows up right now. I tinted the front windows this evening because I couldn't figure out how to get the back of the seat open to fix the head rest (that's my next thread). The back windows are going to be a bitch because I can only tint them with the top up.
And don't worry, I didn't do one of those ghetto, 95% black tint-jobs. I just did a light tint in the hope that it will keep the inside of the car a little cooler on our western tour this summer.

I said "damn the virus, full speed ahead" and installed it anyway. I figured out which relays I need to control. Now I just need to figure out where all of the wiring runs. It looks like it should be pretty simple. I just need to put voltage on one wire to roll both windows down, and another wire to roll them both up.

I never did it, although just last week I was thinking about it again. I bought a three position momentary rocker switch which I was going to install in the compartment below the arm rest. There are two wires that run through the space under the center arm rest. When you apply voltage to one the windows go up, apply voltage to the other and the windows go down. That would be a fun little project to do this weekend.
