Hey there everyone, need some help. My 2015 XJL is throwing a Bank 2, sensor fault code. Is that sensor the one directly under the driver's seat? IE- Furthest downstream? I am confused as to the right one to buy from on-line stores and need an SKU number or the equivalent)

You might want to check with a dealer because they extended the warranty 10years or 120,000 miles (whichever comes first), on O2 sensors

Bank 2 is on the drivers side.
Bank 1 is the passenger side.
If it's bank 2 sensor #1 it's upstream (before the catalytic converter) if it's bank 2 sensor #2 it's after the cat.
Mark, thanks! I am bank 2, sensor 3. Do you have OEM code numbers for the O2 sensors? I ask because one person says they are the same left or right. And others say they are different. Ugh!

The left & right (bank 1 & bank 2) are the same, but each of the two (or three?) sensors down each bank are different part numbers, particularly for the length of the cables.
I don't know what engine you have in your 20016 XJ, so I don't know specifics, but as Clubairth said:

...there is a wealth of other posts that can probably answer specific questions as you can read the ones that apply to what engine configuration you have.
This might help you: Emission Components for 2016 Jaguar XJ | Jaguar Annapolis Parts
But as JD wrote, Rock Auto has better priced ones - I suggest the Bosch (they probably supply the factory ones to JLR).
I'm in upstate SC if you're interested in borrowing the tool I fabricated for this.
And I just replaced the upstream sensors on my Range Rover which started out as a pain until I checked out one of Autozone's loaner tools that made it so much easier.
It was specifically the o2 sensor wrench with the attached handle, like this: More Information for PERFORMANCE TOOL W84007
I started with a typical o2 sensor slotted deep socket - that was a nightmare. Then this wrench fit right on the (rounded, from the o2 sensor slotted deep socket) sensor flats solidly & broke it loose with no problem.

Oaky, but here's the issue at Rockauto: I cut & pasted the ad for them. "Fits Upstream Left; AWD; GAS or Upstream Right; AWD; GAS" So, what is left and what is right? IE- Bank 1 or bank 2 is left or right? Not as easy as stated.
I'm sorry - I suppose I wasn't as clear as I could have been.
Bank 1 is the right side of the engine. That is the passenger side of a left-hand drive vehicle (what we drive in the US).
Now that leaves bank 2. That's the left side of the engine which is on the driver's side of our left-hand drive vehicles in the US.
I hope that helps.
And if you read Rock Auto's description carefully, it doesn't really matter. As it says ( and I said in an earlier response), the left side and right side sensors are the same.
That means if you were to find one that claims to "fit left side", it would fit the right side just as well.
If you find one that fits bank 1 of one of the 3 positions, it would also fit bank 2 for the same position (be it upstream, middle or downstream).

Mark, you've been very helpful. But, here is what I mean. Out on Rockauto, per my other note, there are two part numbers for the O2 sensors, AWD, downstream. (Left, 16043 and right,16042) You tell me the Bank 2, Senor 3 is the same left or right. Correct? I'm going to order it anyway.....let's see, right? Thanks man!

I believe I see what you mean. That can be confusing.
So you have an AWD? That makes a difference. I didn't see that you let us know that on your earlier posts.
AWD is a different configuration from 2-wheel drive, so to get useful info you need to specify what you have.
Their (Rock Auto) descriptions of the Bosch 16032 & 16033 for the rear wheel drive XJ are a bit clearer than the 16042 & 16043 for all wheel drive.
If you look at the descriptions for the other brands like the NTK sensors it might help.
Look for the NTK AWD sensor that fits B2S3 (if that's what you 're looking for) and look for the part number cross-reference at the bottom of the page that describes that sensor.
Use that cross reference to find which (right or left) Bosch sensor fits - or just buy the NTK, They're a good brand too.

Mark, okay. Now I have two Bosch numbers but are those numbers: Downstream, mid stream or up stream, left or right? Keith--
I'm sorry - I can't understand what you're asking.
It might be easier if you just call your local Auto parts store and talk to them.
They have access to part numbers and where they fit, and when you speak directly to them you can answer their questions and they can answer yours real-time.
That might be much quicker and simpler.

What? Of course there is left or right. Bank 2 is left, drivers. Bank 1 is right, passenger. The SKU codes at Jag and Bosch are TWO different ID (Or SKU) numbers.... sheesh.
While it's true the side-to-side sensors are identical (at least for those of us with RWD XJs), I did find that the upstream (sensor 1 of each side), mid-stream (in the middle of the cat assembly) and downstream are not all the same with just different cable lengths.
The upstream were shown in Jaaag_drivah's other post where he graciously shared his experience (and custom tool design) in the pic of the upstream sensors he shared.
These are pics of the ones I removed from the AJ133 in my Land Rover, and you can see the shorter cable & different sensor on the upstream and the longer cable and different sensor probe on the one from the middle of the cat.
As far as with the AWD configuration, I think you might have the best luck talking to the parts counter at your local dealership.

10yr/120K miles applies to the V8 models.
@jaguarguy100 , you mentioned in my other thread that your 2015 is a V6. If so, you're still covered by the extended O2 sensor warranty- which on the V6 models is 15 years/150K miles. If you're under 150K miles, I would call the dealer.
