i had this issue, but there was enough water in my passenger side tail light to see it sloshing around. It was ridiculous. The first thing i did was drill a VERY tiny hole at the bottom of the tail light housing, where it seemed like i couldnt do much more damage, and drilled into there. Then i shook the hell out of the light to get as much water out as i could. I would say 85% of the water came out during this shaking process. next, i got a 50 lbs bag of rice (seriously) and poured it into a container and put the light in there with it, closed the lid, and waited overnight.

Since then, there has been no water intrusion like there used to be. there is sometimes condensation that forms, but it never stays, and the lens never gets foggy or anything like that. i realize this isnt very scientific, but it worked.

As far as replacing the lights goes, there are ones available on ebay all the time for usually between $300-500 USD. new ones from the dealer are crazy expensive. those are really the only 2 options ive seen to purchase them.
