XJ X351 2009 onwards should say 2011 onwards
I think the point is that it was announced in 2009, and no more X350s were made. When X350 production actually stopped in Birmingham I am not sure. X351 factory production started some time in 2010, then cars were on sale in 2011, certainly in England.
It seems to me the problem is the US "Model Year" designation, as Jaguar will call a car on sale in late 2010 as Model Year 2011.

It's debatable if it should say 2010 or 2011 onwards, but definitely not 2009 since that was the last year for the X350. To my knowledge, there was not a 2010 XJ made (X350 or X351) and the first X351's were delivered in June, 2010 as an early release 2011 model.
I have always felt the same way about the XF forums - it says 2008 onwards. When Ford was still pumping out S types with that date stamped on them.
I have to say, if someone is not familiar with these cars, they can get confused easily.
