XJL in for service
Decided to try Tulsa. Keeping my fingers crossed. Apparently need a front alignment which I must pay for since the car is over a year old. So much for all maintenance being included. Another big lie from Jaguar though I am sure there is some fine print I never was asked to read. Also replacing the water pump which is some sort of service bulletin.
Not impressed with the new interface or buttons for the display. My version seems more elegant though I do like the new voice commands that make most of the buttons obsolete. Would love that upgrade but know it will never happen.
Hope the roof popping is fixed the first time. Hoping the car is better and not worse after service. Yes, I expect less and am surprised at more these days. LOL

Good luck with your service.
I had my 3 months old car in for some tire/suspension checks and was not happy at all with the service. The service rep looked at his computer and made the pointed remark that this car WAS NOT purchased from his dealership. From there, things went downhill. They did not even spin check my wheels, lied about one being out of round and, failed to have my car washed and the rep made me wait to pick up the car while he casually and loudly chatted non-business with a friend for about 5 minutes.
This was after getting super good service from the same dealer and rep with my 2 previous Jags. Guess, if you don't buy from them, you don't deserve good warranty service... The least I could do was to let them know that this was a really bad service and unless things changed they'd loose my future business for certain.
