thats interesting, i would have thought they used stronger calipers or something. cuz i agree sometimes it just seems like the car is taking a bit too much pressure or time to slow down. i had a 1st gen 300 SRT and it had the same feeling but felt like it grabbed harder. my AMG also bit a lot harder, but i dont think thats a fair comparison.

It might just be psychosomatic, and the braking is fine, but sometimes it feels like im not slowing down fast enough.

I've had a first gen 300 SRT, first year Challenger SRT and traded my second gen 300 SRT on the XJR. Just a different feel. It's possible the pads are glazed but I haven't checked. Not trying to compare the cars, just looking to see if anyone in the community has experience making it better if it's possible and what has worked.

I put the R1 Concepts drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads on my Supersport. I can't really tell the difference from stock. They do look better though.

Depends on how serious you are about upgrading?
Maybe these 2 piece rotors would/should fit the XJR?
Looks like they are only $2500 or so. But 50 lbs in weight reduction is HARD to come by!
