RockAuto has Purolator oil filters for our cars for 74 cents each: with shipping 10 cost $18.43

 

They want $17 shipping from me. For only TWO of those filters. Same with a few rubber bushings I wanted to buy. They have "good prices" but they wanted $17.00 for shipping a 12 oz box.. You can send via fast priority mail (theirs is slow UPS) for a lot less. Plus if an additional item you want is mysteriously at "another warehouse" they will charge another full shipping fee. I buy less from them because of this scam and did not buy those bushings.

 

Yeah, you gotta play the game with them if you want to save any money. I was able to get rear brakes for my F250 all motorcraft parts, pads rotors etc for $400 less than anywhere else. But if I picked a different brand rotor, it came from a different warehouse and ended up costing more, even though the parts cost less.

 

I've actually found Amazon prime prices are usually cheaper after all the shipping cost add ons and slow delivery which is sad as I'd rather buy from RockAuto
