Default Radiator Shroud.

G'day Gents,

I noticed recently that the rubber flappers at the bottom of my radiator shroud have hardened and warped with old age and heat and don't close flat against the shroud allowing some recirculation so reducing the amount of air drawn through the radiator when the car is stationary.

I intend to remove the shroud and replace the flappers, has anyone here done this to their car?

Cheers,
Jeff.

I have the same issue and plan on using 3mm insertion rubber.

I found some at the salvage yard but in pulling the tabs to come out of the mounting holes the tabs break

So will have to get small screws to fasten them

G’day Jim and Parker,

Sounds like what I’m gunna do, use neoprene sheet and either small screws or small pop rivets to affix the flappers.

Cheers,
Jeff.
