RHD parts ask, colorlock, rear view mirror
Anyone got a UK/rhd passenger door wood trim insert with the gold inlay pinstripe they want to part with? I have sun damaged lhd door trim that's the worse thing on my 96 car, and I have an airline pilot friend who's in London every week for next few weeks who can bring it back if posted to his hotel.
Separately but still on interiors I've been repairing cracked leather trim with colourlock, it's pretty good stuff, takes eyes away from those scruffy bits...
Rear view mirror,: I spent ages trying to get the damaged one off, used all kinds of chemicals, floss etc to try and release the nub off the glass as the mirror wouldn't budge. Squirted some penetrant into the area between nub and spring and that helped it come straight off nub relatively easily.
Cheers

You can keep the nub piece on glass as the revised rearview mirror internals will fit in the original shell
There are some wire changes
There are 2 versions of the snap together of the post on nub
