Default Smog pump removal

Has anyone removed one from an x305 recently? wish I'd tackled this while my front subframe was off! How too would be super useful.

I've found a rebuilder for $225 USD which seems reasonable. I think mine is probably semi seized after sitting for too long. It's growling and there are chirping noises after the clutch releases.

Cheers

I have! Personally, I recommend getting it in and out from below, a little finicky but definitely doable with the front subframe in place. I'd personally suggest removing the radiator and fan to have a bit more room to work with it.

Note: Two or three (forgive me, its been a few weeks since I did it) of the bolts are shared with the water pump. Considering this, I'd personally suggest to at least replace the water pump gasket to avoid any leaks when you put it back together. It's also a good time to inspect your water pump. Mine had some play so I elected to have it rebuilt/eventually replaced (I'll go more in depth on that fiasco when I finally get off my butt and build my ownership thread lol).
