Sounds like a issue I have had with both X350's at times. The 20 minutes was tge clue. You may have a leaking fuel injector with a bit of crud or grain of dirt holding it open. It leaks down and fills a cylinder with fuel, and restarts are super difficult. Leave it longer and it evaps or runs into crankcase, short is okay too..this is why flooring it helps.
Try a few cans of good fuel injector cleaner at a strong concentration (no more than 10 gallons of gas). If that fails, there's Seafoam upper engine cleaner and lube spray, but be ready to fill the neighborhood with smoke after the heat soak, and you will probably foul the plugs in the process. Change your oil after using that stuff. I had 2 day old oil go jet black (cheap stuff used for sacrificial purposes.)
Good luck!
