My Super V/8 has the flip open cupholder in the console. I've seen the sliding lid type though in other 05's. Was there a mid year change or was the cupholder different in a Vandin Plas vs a base car or R model? Is the console a direct bolt in to get the sliding lid type? Will my rear auto temp controls fit in the ones with just the manual controls?

Sliding Armrest- 2 zone A/C
Flip Open Armrest- 4 zone A/C

Thank you! That answers one question. Can I swap my 4 zone console for a 2 zone and still use the 4 zone controls? I hate the flip open cup holder? Hits my wrist as I drive!

Sorry no, the console is different because of the rear evaporator is in the way.
