Default F-type R stock boost curve

Hi All,

I was wondering if any of you F-type R enthusiasts have logged the boost while running your stock file or tune on the stock pulley. I'm only managing to reach 9.0-9.5 psi max by reading the PID output from the MAP sensor and correcting for atm pressure. Seems low. Data is appreciated! Thanks.

I only have that info for a V6S (stock and tuned) if anyone is interested.

I'm interested as well given that the supercharger is the same. Some insight could be gained from the boost vs power relationship on the V6.

I thought so too, initially, but I think it's been established that the V6 and V8 blowers are different.

I know the part numbers are different, but I couldn't find any info as to whether that means the OEM case is different, or that the actual blower displacement is smaller. I always thought that the TVS 1740 would make more sense on the V6.

The 3.0L supercharger is different, same style TVS, but a smaller displacement. (smaller casing, smaller rotors)

Well, I'm glad to hear that, because using the TVS 1900 on a 3.0L motor never made any sense to me.

The V8 is an Eaton TVS R1900
The V6 is an Eaton TVS R1320

hey unhingd. I have a methanol kit. Going with 4 port injection through the plenum. However, i an not sure where i should connect my kit’s boost sensor for injection reference. Do you think there is any other location to fit it other than tapping into the SC plenum?

Several people have added meth setups - have you searched the forum? Note this is a 5-year old thread. Many of the posters aren't here anymore, though Unhingd is occasionally.

What type of controller do you have? Based on your question, I assume your reference is a hose and not an electronic/electrical signal? I put an entire DIY on this forum as well, with lots of information.

If you are triggering from a vacuum, most tap the plenum, but really any variable vacuum will work as you are just looking for a relative change (i.e. it does not matter if it is 1 - 5 units or 4 - 10 units...Just a relative trigger of when to start spraying and when to max it out - assuming you are using a variable controller, which I recommend).

Below is where another member tapped in for a reference. You have to remove the cover to drill for your nozzles anyway (you do NOT want to put them in the intake tubes in front of the TB).
