Default 07 xjr with coil springs replaced from air suspension.

I have a xjr that now has regular spring suspension. It still has the air suspension fault messege in the dash and constantly beeps. Is there anything I can do to get the fault code off, please help jag experts. Driving in the car is now miserable with the constant beep.

Welcome Mikesheve, please introduce yourself in the New Member Area forum. Sorry, but your in the wrong forum, this is X308, I believe you want the X350 & X358 forum. Let's see if a mod can move it so you can get correct responses.

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums!

Thanks to the headsup from Highhorse, I have moved your post from the forum for the X308 to the forum for the X350, which is the Jaguar factory project code for your '07 XJR.

The answers to your questions are not going to be short, so the first question I would ask is: Did you have the coil spring conversion done or was it done by a previous owner? If you had it done, what brand of coil units were used? If they were made by Arnott Industries, an Electronic Bypass Module (EBM) is available to fool the Air Suspension Control Module (ASM) so the warnings will not appear on the Instrument Cluster (IC). I do not recall whether any of the other coil conversion manufacturers offers an equivalent device.

If your coil units were not made by Arnott, you may have to do a significant amount of work to reduce and possibly eliminate the warnings on the IC. I believe our member 34by151 has posted the values of resistors required to fool the ASM into thinking various parts of the old air suspension are still present and functioning properly. The thread at the link below is a good place to start, but I think he may have made other posts in other threads as well:

In the meantime, as Highhorse requested, please visit the New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum and post an introduction so we can learn something about you and your Jaguar and give you a proper welcome.

Cheers,

Don
