I have an 08 XJ8 Vanden Plas. I have had electrical issues for the past 20 months.


1. 18 months ago drivers side seat heater stopped heating
Fix: mechanic ordered new heater, installed in the seat works great


2. 1 month later, all speakers in doors and in back and amp quit working
Fix: ordered new speakers and amp, installed and working great


3. 2 months later, pushed a button to change radio station, A/C fan blower went crazy blowing max speed, turned off A/C then back on, then tried the radio again, seems to be working


4. a few months later, started car and tried to select a radio station from the touch screen, the radio went crazy, changing from pre set station to pre set station, turned off car and restarted, working fine


5. what happened in #4 has happened 3 more times over the last few months


6. drivers seat heater (the 1 that was replace just 18 months ago) quit working again!


does anyone have any ideas on what could be the culprit? I think my car has a "Gremlin"


Help! I need my seat heater, bad back, 2 herniated discs, I use heater all the time
