Actually I am at 126.5k at the moment and climbing.
Just had to sit down and throw a little update out there, letting everyone know that, if properly cared for, the X350 is just as reliable as any of its Japanese luxury competitors. Far and above the best Jaguar I've ever owned out of the six total.
I know she may die tomorrow but if so, I'll pay for the resuscitation. This car is more solid now at 126k on the clock than it was at 85 when I purchased it. New rack at 112k, tranny pan replacement and coolant reservoir in the last 2k have been the only major expenses thus far. (knocking on wood)
Barring something catastropic, I must admit that I plan on seeing if I can hit the 200k mark out of this one. Shell premium gasoline and Mobil 1 Synthetic (changes every 4.5-5k) have been good to me so why break tradition here?
Bottom line is, I still love my X350 as much as the day I bought it. I know there will be some bumps along the road but I have driven this cars direct competitors (MB S class, BMW's 7) and I must admit at the end of the day, I am still glad I am a Jaguar owner

What a pleasure to read a post about high mileage and a happy owner! Originally Posted by GoobeGustafson

I don't have a lot of mils on the XJ, about 70K. I do a few PM items to try to ensure that the miles are as trouble free as possible...Change the tranny fluid and filter pan at 60K, change the fuel filter at 60K, I spray rubber lube/preservative on all bushings at every oil change, keep an eye out for leaks at oil changes, drain and refill the coolant every 40K, change synthetic oil and filter about every 6-7K miles, blow out the cabin filter at oil changes to help keep the fan pack from overheating, , keep the air filter clean. Not much can be done with the air suspension or the throttle body. If those go, they go, there is no PM I can think of. I had to replace the front air springs and compressor a couple years ago, been okay since.

im at 136,000 on my super v8. converting the CATS system, recently replaced driver side catalytic conv. and now the stupid rubber hose thats runs under the super charger. knock on wood hope nothing major will happen. but with what i had to replace so far are parts that arent supposed to last forever. i also have 170.000 on my 98 vanden plas. i use it for my work car and with my little dings and dents here and there on it i constantly get complimented every time i drive it.
