Was wondering if anyone knows where the Engine Number is located? I found the vin on the engine (doesnt match my body VIN because I swapped out engine). I'm being asked by the auto part store if its a "Eng: 981030000-" or the "Eng: -981029000". i have no clue what either of these mean... Id rather not have to take of the valve cover gasket and inspect the oil tube gaskets to figure it out (each engine # apparently have different types of gaskets). Where the heck is the # located? Its a 1998 XJ8L 4.0
