1998 XJ8 Will not start Help!
I performed the Throttle body and par-load breather maintence. All went well, I thought. But when I started it up the idle was real low and then engine stalled. I managed to pull it out of my garage and move it up my driveway. However, now it will not start? I have done a master electrical reboot at battery. Any ideas? Thank you!
Check out this thread, sounds like you may have cylinder wash. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ession-113230/
Thank you! I will try to see if I can do this tomorrow. Any ideas why this happened after I did the Throttle body and part-load breather? It has never had a hard time starting before...I figured I did not put something back together correctly or I damaged something cleaning out the Part-Load with the drill bit.....anyone have any ideas?
Did you plug the MAF back in? Did the breather hose crack? They are very brittle.
Make sure the intake duct is fully seated on the throttle body, and there are no air leaks between the air filter and the throttle.
