Default 2003 X350 SatNav.

Still trying to get my JDM X350 to read an EU 2012 Satnav update disc. I have tried a replacement head unit, also tried to do a factory default
but that command doesn't light up in manual check. Any suggestions please.

Are you using the navigation CD in the head unit in the cabin or are you using it in the special satellite disc drive reader in the trunk? Left hand side of the trunk should have a panel that opens to reveal the CD disc changer and the satellite navigation CD reader. Best of luck.

Default Result.

Hi all, just fitted a replacement DVD reader to the boot. Satnav bursts into life, reads disc, and everything is fine. £65.00.

Satnav is working fine but when the plotting gets lost because of newer roads I find it difficult to then get the cursor
back to the correct position. Any ideas how I can do that quicker. Thanks. Peter.

The unit is rather useless I M H O!!!
Was very disappointed, in its choosing the best route home.
This involved older freeways, YEARS older than the vehicle.

Yes, I agree that unfortunately it has become quite useless. Not only is the latest version of the maps from 2012, but it also does not have any way to consider traffic info for calculating routes, not even TMC.

When driving my X350, I use my mobile phone for navigation. At least it fits into the ashtray, and so an additional holder can be avoided.

Best regards,

Thomas
