2004 jaguar XJ8Not shifting out of park now
I put the car into reverse back out of the driveway would not go into Drive Forced it broke the shifter gear box I replaced the shifter box now not coming out of park not starting need help!

 

Check the two bolts for the shifter cable under the car (drivers side of trans) ensure they're both there and tight

I crawled under the car this morning
That was the problem
One was missing and the was loose
Picked up a 6mm bolt and off I went
