Had my new Jag for a couple of weeks and trying to get everything sorted. Changed the oil because Walmart wouldn't even though they are quite happy to do it on an S type. So my current project is to get the rear sun shade to work - BECAUSE IT'S JUST COOL! The sliders are sheared so the push rods are not attached. I undid the side clip (one screw) and pulled one out to have a look and try and find any markings. none. Does anyone know where you can get them (if you can). It's the little black slider that runs along the shade support rod. I emailed the jag dealer in Orlando but guess they didn't think the could make a Benjain on it so didn't email back. Any suggestions for a source, or an alternative (i was thinking of breaking open the curtain rod in the bathroom, wouldn't be the first time I had canabalized the house for for car parts.

Just got an 05 vdp and the sun shade is fantastic.
Have you looked at eBay for one, or a salvage yard?
Crashed, totaled cars usually leave the backend intact.
Just a thought.
