Default 2004 x350 Alarm Chirp

I always use the master key I had cut and programmed for my car. The flip key and remote are bulky and annoying. When I set my alarm with the key, I get a lights flash, but no chirp. The alarm is set, red light on dash flashes... Is no chirp normal?? My old 2002 VDP chirped! Brandon

The chirps can be changed in SDD.
Initially my car had the chip but have set it up for no chirp but still chirps if it has a locking issue
IE a door ajar ect

Cheers

SDD is the diagnostic system
You need a mongoose cable and a PC. You can download a copy or get it with your cable

Look in the mongoose thread for all the details

PS I got my cable from uobd2.com
