Trying to find out how to turn on the beep when locking and unlocking the car with the keyless remote. The lights flash but no beep. Owners manual says is should beep (when enabled) so how do I enable. Just got car last week and added it garage of 96 XJR and 99 XK8 but this 04 XJ8 is a different world and I'm lost at this early juncture. Can anyone help? Also, what other hidden options may I find as to various audio alerts except for the pesky seat belt reminder and the back-up warning sensors (very cool).
