Default XJR x350 Roof trim problem

I posted this also on the UK forum , 2 forums know more than one so here we go.

The roof trim on the drivers side has a gap front and back and this creates allot of wind noise.

On the left it looks like this, open gap front and back ..i can push it back a bit but it wont hold, it springs back straight away.

On the right all okay and flush

Any suggestions how this piece is connected to the car?

That finisher can be removed and the fasteners replaced, provided it's not damaged. There are 12 clips to replace, two white ones at the rear P/N C2C10152, and ten black ones P/N C2C22561. Someone may have tried to reuse the clips, that never works, they are basically suicide parts; if the finisher comes off, they are junk.
Start at the rear and pop it off the body, working forward. Just be careful of the front wing and "A" post, it's easy to scratch them with the front edge.

Good luck,

Thanks a bunch,i will contact the dealer to order those parts.
The trim isn't damaged so it must be possible to replace the clips and get it flush again.
