2004 XJR Maplight not working

New bulbs in map lights but lights will NOT come on....center courtesy light works, no fuses blown...any ideas?

My maplights are always very sticky. Try spending a good 5 minutes just hitting the buttons repeatedly and see if maybe the switch fixes itself.
