2005 xj8, 92,000 miles. Is this a solid year jag.
Yes, if servicing and maintenance has been done correctly, like service every 10k miles OR yearly. Here in the UK nobody buys a car without an MOT certificate, which is the UK mandatory roadworthiness test.Do they have these where you live ? These cars can easily get beyond 250k miles and some have gone further than that. I part-exed mine on 115k and the car is now with a new owner.
Caution, though. Do not buy on-line, sight unseen, you really must see and drive the car before you hand over cash.

Bought my 2005 VDP with 95k. Had to replace 1 air strut that was leaking. Also developed a misfire on 2 cylinders. While I could have replaced just those coils I opted to replace all coils and plugs. The misfire actually had the symptoms of transmission issues, so I did trans service also. Has ran beautifully since. @103k now.
