Hello! I've just recently acquired a 2005 XJ8 and my issue is the driver's side (left) headlight doesn't work. I've bought new bulbs, checking them on both sides and the bulbs are good. Checked the engine compartment fuse box and found that fuse #9 Left hand dipped beam has no power. The fuse isn't blown, and I've checked it with a multimeter... Nothing..
Any help would be very much appreciated!!

 

Hi. I had problems with my left headlight and indicator in the headlight assembly. Mine was the ground point just behind the headlight assembly. Check to see if it's broken or needs a clean.

 

I have a 2005 Jaguar XJ8L. I'm not sure which of the two types of low beam headlight bulbs that your car uses but my Jaguar uses a Wagner BP1255/H7 which is a 55 watt bulb. Hope that helps.
