Default 2006 xj8 VDP dash lights

Every once in a while my dash lights flicker. if I turn the engine off and start it up again the flickers have stopped. Is this something that could be a problem soon ? Its a Flicking nusance !.

All the dash light, touchscreen, and clock. Outside lights do not flicker

The easy fix could be a hard reset. It's not likely but worth a try.
Remove both battery leads and touch together for a couple of minutes
then replace.
You may or may not need the radio code but you will need to reset the windows.
Have your battery load tested also

Resetting windows is easy and it's in your owner's manual.
