Hi I’m looking to purchase my first jaguar a 2008 xj8 x358. Is there a method in this day and age to get apple car play in the car as well as a rear view camera?

 

Yes, Jagdroid or Jagaux - both retain the original infotainment head-unit, but with the push of a button they show you an Android UI
with Jagdroid you open the center console, pull out the head-unit and send it to UK for the installment to be done
with Jagaux you order the upgrade kit, pull out the head-unit and install the kit on your own

and then there's the Tesla-style portrait-shaped thing from AliExpress

 

A rearview camera can also be installed without Jagdroid or Jagaux, but that's the only thing...
