Any thoughts a to reasons why my engine would stall after driving the car for more than 20- 30 minutes after it has warmed up? It does not happen every time after driving, but after car has been running and on the re- start, the car the engine will stall leading to another re-start. The engine will then start, but I have to hit the gas to keep the engine running before putting it in gear. Is there such a thing as a vapor lock? This will happen after driving and stopping for gas. Once driving, he engine has never stalled at traffic light only on the re-start.

The car has 135K miles and all spark plugs haverecently been replaced.

I have also noticed, but I don't believe it is related that my Check Engine Light comes on periodically. This may be an oxygen sensor. I have also noticed that my secondary fan goes on more often than before, but the temperature gauge remains where it should be.

My first inclination will be to get fuel pressure readings.

 

Get the codes. You are shooting blind!!
