2008 XJ8L door locks/ remote

Front doors lock with remote but rear doors do not ???

Do they lock with a key in the driver's door?

Are the rear doors used very often?

Reason I ask is the rear actuators could have failed one by one without

you realizing it.

I just purchased the car and previous owner says he never really opened the rear doors very much . One guy says it's some control thingy located in the driver side front door he thinks is out . ???

Have you tried locking all the doors with the key in the driver's door?

If so do the rear doors lock?

Locks

My JAG is currently at JIM'S JAG SHOP in Dallas . They only work on Jags so hopefully they will figure it out . They just did a smoke test to locate a vacuum leak trying to get all bugs worked out ...
