I am thinking of installing the audio connectivity module in my '06 VDP. Has anyone tried installing the ACM on an '06 with the Alpine Stereo (and Navigation?).

I just want to make sure that they are compatible before I start tearing things up.

Also I have been trying to look through the directions available on the Jaguar Owner Information website, and I can't seem to understand what's going on.

Why do I need to be inside the glovebox? I thought the audio connectors will be in the center console!?

I installed it way back in my 06 XJR with NAV and Alpine.. worked fine.. Wiring goes in the glovebox per the instructions but if I remember correctly you could reroute it to the center console.

Where did you find an ACM to purchase, I thought they were discontinued.

I haven't found one to purchase!
