Lightbulb ACM, Bluetooth

I've been searching around online for the ACM Module but it seem like no one sells it at all anymore. Is their anything else you guys recommend that gives clear sound quality without having to use a FM Modulator?

Default One word: "Arrrrgggghhh!!!"

Not sure if that counts as a word, lol. To think: If I had only popped in and asked the question. I have been looking for an ACM for FOUR YEARS! Admittedly it's not a daily crawl of the entire interweb for them, but still.

So I will take the initiative, just in case lightning strikes twice:

Here goes:

Ready?

Ok then...

Does anyone have an ACM that they are willing to part with. Does anyone know anyone who might have an ACM that they etc.

Does anyone know if the Mercedes version: Dension Gateway 500 Lite (GWL1DB1) can be re-purposed to work in our cars?

Does anyone have instructions for building an ACM out of string and a couple of plastic cups?

Jaguar Audio CONNECTIVITY Module ACM C2C40513

I am here. Waiting patiently. For a miracle, it appears.

John, you might try posting in the member classifieds to as WTB. That might help. Bump it every few weeks.

Default Now there's a practical suggestion!

Thank you, sir - In spite of the low odds of finding one of these, your suggestion is one that could yield results. Sure beats wishful thinking.

I have seen folks successfully add the JaguarVoice module to X350's though it is a bit kludgy to use without "natural speaking" usage so I might put an inquiry for one of those as well since I have the mic hardware already, and it might be interesting if I can grab one for 100 bucks or so...

What might be unrealistic is getting a rear entertainment setup off a wreck and installing it. I have he Alpine system, and I don't doubt that the Rear ICE setup would plug in, its the front seat disassebly, the wiring through the rear bulkhead for the armrest unit, and even if I cable it all and get the D2B loops right, it STILL has to be enabled via SDD - like others that have pondered this move, it might be simpler to sell the car and find a nice Suoer V8 than to do all that, just so someone ELSE can watch Wall-E while I drive the car, LOL. Of course I WOULD get an Aux-in jack for all my trouble!

Came across the above today. Not sure whether it still available or not but seems like a like a lot of money!

Yikes. For that kind of $, I'd stick with earbuds in my iPod.
