I just purchased HID headlights for my 1998 XJ8. However, when i went to install them i found out that they are not just plug and play.
Apparently i need some sort of H7 bulb adapter to secure the bulb to the headlight housing. Either that, or i have to drill out the stock clip (which i'm trying to avoid in case i want to go back to the stock lights).

Does anyone know where i can get this bulb adapter for a jaguar? I can find it for every other car except for jaguars!

I haven't done it to my Jag, but others here have. I haven't heard about anyone having to use an adapter.

 

really? how did they mount the bulb in the headlight housing?

 

I think you may have gotten the wrong update kit.
