I was wondering if anybody has had the same light on the dash come on.The Air Bag light comes up in flashing a couple of times then it just stay's on.I reset it by shutting the car off and restarting it.Its only happened a couple of times,try to get it to the dealer this week.

 

if its an 04 xj then you may need a cassette reel

 

It's a 05 XJ8 L

 

Either a cassette reel or your side air bag connector may need to be crazy glued in. Will have to check the codes to verify

 

Is the cassette reel the same as the clock spring? I had to have the clock spring assembly replaced when my air bag light came on.
