I'm typically a purist, so I get the people that want to keep the air suspension at all costs, but I really haven't found anybody that seems to regret converting to coilovers (save for a few people that bought the $500 Chinesium eBay specials).

At the moment, I'm leaning towards get one of the Arnott conversion kits (although I'm currently struck with choice paralysis) and I'm interested in any feedback people would offer good, bad, or otherwise.
The weather here in Singapore (hot and humid) is unkind to air-shocks and they typically start to leak by 3+ years. After going through two sets of the airshocks in my 7-8 years of ownership at that time, I gave up and switched to the Arnotts replacements about 4 years ago. I found the Arnott's units comfortable, but with too much body roll when going around corners compared to the original air-shocks for my XJR. I was recommended a set of Korean made uprated anti-roll bars found on e-bay and after fitting them up, the car was very nice to drive with all the body roll issues resolved. The only limitation left is if you load up the car with a full passenger load the car does bottom out the suspension travel if you don't slow down enough over humps. That never happened with the air-shocks previously. No regrets for the switch.
