Air suspension
When the temp drops below 30 degrees, the front of my 2006 XJ8L drops and will NOT come back up until the outside temp is almost 40 degrees.. Is that common? and other than replacing the entire suspension what can i do to repair or fix this problem.. could it be the pump is bad? I have had some wonderful people help me in the past with issues like this. I hope you can once again help me again. I have NO idea about what makes this car do this...

I'd replace the compressor seals and ring as this is the cheapest option in the first instance. It's a fairly straightforward job so is certainly a DIY job if you like to do your own work on the car. There is a kit available to do this. It doesn't replace the whole compressor but is a service kit instead. For the cost it is worth doing.
The kit comes with fitting instructions and new seals and even new bolts.
